Abstract:
The report presents an overview of the activities of the working
group 2 of COST 219. Main objective is to inform the different
acters in the field of telecommunications about user requirements,
especially of handicapped people for the purpose to pay attention
to these user group and to offer better solutions to them.
The study describes the results of inquiries concerning the
application of telecommunucation equipment by user groups with
different handicaps (i.e. eye defect, speech-, hearing- or physical
disability). The specific problems of the different groups were
described in detail.
