Abstract:
The article describes a case study which has been carried out
in order to investigate how older and disabled people can participate
in standardization work. The case study proved that user participation
in the standardization work was essential and that it was possible
to establish a fruitful cooperation between user representatives
and professionals. A ready to use model for user influence in
standardization work was elaborated.
In the context of the study a user panel test, and group discussions
were carried out.
