Abstract:
The paper emphasises that not all disabled people need rehabilitation
technology but they all need good design. Designers, manufacturers
and rehabilitation engineers should make it their priority to
undertake evaluative research with end users at all stages of
the design process. A user based strategy concerning product
evaluation is described in the article. Modells and methods
of user involvement are reflected in the paper.
