Abstract:
The presentation intends a briefly outline of the current standardization
activities within CEN of relevance to disabled and elderly persons.
Clear identification of the standardization needs of disabled
and elderly persons, possibilities for greater user influence
are discussed. Further recommendations from the HEARTstudy concerning
user participation are reflected in the paper.
